Healthcare

The Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) has been a disaster for our country and it hasn't been fully implemented yet. Premiums are skyrocketing, and families are losing their doctors and their insurance plans. It's time to stop partisan bickering over ideologies and fix what is broken with the healthcare system.

We can start by opening the doors for market-oriented solutions such as allowing insurance companies to complete across state lines and encouraging Health Saving Accounts. At the same time, we must address tort reform (lawsuit reform) as frivolous lawsuits have been increasing costs for decades.  Let’s put the needs of patients before bureaucrats. Let's permit doctors and patients to make decisions for themselves instead of bowing to the dictates of insurance companies or their shareholders.  And let’s stop IRS agents from being the health insurance police.
